Moonlight Communications Wins Three International Telly Awards

Moonlight Communications, a Digital Media Production Company based in Fayetteville and owned by Jan Johnson & Pat Wright, has garnered three Telly Awards in the 33rd annual international competition.

One Telly Award was received for Heroes Homecoming Oral History Project, a short form documentary that included discussions with Vietnam Veterans, native Vietnamese, and local citizens who lived in Fayetteville during the Vietnam war. The production of Heroes Homecoming Oral History Project was supported in part by the Arts Council of Fayetteville/Cumberland County and the NC Humanities Council.

Another Telly Award was received for Methodist University Academics TV Promo. This marketing video is designed to inform prospective students of the wide range of academic choices at Methodist University.

A third Telly Award was received for FayetteNOW! This program was created for use in the 2011 All America City Video Contest. The program brought home first place in those awards and we are honored to have received another award for this program that shows how “FayetteNam” has become FayetteNOW.

The Telly Awards honor the very best local, regional, and cable television commercials and programs, as well as the finest video and film productions, and work created for the Web.

The Annual Telly Awards receives more than 11,000 entries from all 50 states and five continents.
