Moonlight Communications Wins International Telly Awards

Moonlight Communications, a Digital Media Production Company based in Fayetteville and owned by Jan Johnson & Pat Wright, has garnered 4 Telly Awards in the 28th International Competition.

A Telly was awarded for each of two programs produced for the City of Fayetteville which are being shown in the Transportation Museum Downtown. The first is a documentary, The History of Transportation in the Cape Fear Region and the second is a tourism program entitled History, Heroes & a Hometown Feeling.

A third Telly was awarded for a DVD created to promote Womack Army Medical Center as the Medical Center of Excellence.

The fourth Telly was awarded for the production of a marketing DVD for The Logistics Company, a Department of Defense contractor with its headquarters in Fayetteville.

The Telly Award is one of the most prestigious awards in the TV, commercial, film and video industries. More than 10,000 entries are submitted annually from all 50 states and many foreign countries. Only the best receive a Telly Award. Competitors in the film and video categories include The History Channel, ABCNews, Discovery Kids, E! Networks, Harpo Productions, Miramax Films, Walt Disney Studios, MSNBC, Turner Classic Movies, Spike TV, and more.
